Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of yoga do you teach?

My background includes alignment-based vinyasa, Katonah Yoga, meditation, and mat Pilates, alongside ongoing study in Iyengar Yoga. I integrate these approaches to offer a practice tailored to your needs.

What is a private session like?

It depends on what you need — physically and otherwise! I work one-on-one with students to create personalized home practices or focused sequences tailored to specific goals, whether supporting an injury, moving through a life transition, or building strength and mobility.

Working progressively and with attention to alignment, we explore each pose in manageable stages, allowing understanding to arise through direct experience. Sessions may include pranayama, prop-supported asana, hands-on guidance, pilates, functional movement, meditation, or restorative practices, adapting to the needs of the individual each day.

I also work with yoga and movement teachers who want support refining, clarifying, or deepening their offerings.

How can I work on creating a better relationship to my body?

Much of this work begins with nourishment — staying resourced enough to support both body and mind. When food is restricted, we may experience brain fog, reduced focus, increased stress hormones, and lowered immune resilience. Together, we explore what may be influencing your relationship with your body and introduce supportive lifestyle shifts and simple practices that create space for greater ease, neutrality, and self-acceptance.
